Relocation costs increase
Interesting bit of information I discovered:
The cost to relocate a newly hired homeowner went up in 2006
A recent study conducted by the Employee Relocation Council revealed that the average cost to relocate a newly hired homeowner increased from $52,318 in 2005 to $55,165 during the 2006 calendar year. Interestingly, the cost to relocate an internal employee who owns a home went down slightly, decreasing from $64,235 to $62,185.
